Another Frequently Asked Questions relates to the preferred temperature to consume our cheese. We recommend leaving our handcrafted artisan cheese out of the fridge for up to 1 hour prior to serving as this will bring it to room temperature which is ideal at around 22 Celcius. The ambient temperature will dictate how long you leave it out but serving cheese from our cheese hampers at room temperature will allow the flavours and aromas to be at their peak.
One of our most commonly asked questions relates to the the best way to store your handcrafted artisan cheese and we recommend leaving it in the packaging it comes to you in. The cheese paper is a specialty paper and is designed to let the cheese breathe. It is best to keep it in the dairy compartment of your fridge because it protects the cheese from its air movement. If you keep your cheese in containers, ensure you keep them in separate containers as the flavors and aromas of one cheese can penetrate another milder cheese.
We recommend that you store your handcrafted artisan cheese in it's wrapping in glass containers in the fridge.
